Founded in 2004, Cambridge Policy Associates is a consultancy focused on developing long-term sustainable competitiveness, economic growth, upgrading and leapfrogging strategies in the increasingly fast-paced, dynamic, knowledge-based and globalised world economy. The firm works with both industrialised and industrialising emerging economies.
Similarly, at firm level, the consulting covers the full spectrum from technological to operational and strategic elements behind creating sustainable competitive advantage.
Overall, the aim is to support development and implementation of tailored policies for the creation of sustainable and immobile capabilities, consisting of both tangible and intangible assets, in order to enhance the regional and national competitiveness of regions, and firms therein. The intention is to maximise sustainable value creation and appropriation by firms and economies.
Dr. Seena Rejal (Founder, Chairman)
Seena received his Masters and PhD from the University of Cambridge in Manufacturing Engineering, Economics and Policy. He is a consultant to governments on industrial and technological policy formulation, and is also a technology entrepreneur in the renewable energies and internet sectors. In addition, Seena is involved with national and university-level entrepreneurship development initiatives worldwide and is part of a team establishing a world class business school in Iran.
Jonathan Hughes
Jonathan gained MAs in languages and philosophy from Edinburgh University, before studying for an MPhil in philosophy at the Universite de Toulouse. He has been at Cambridge University’s Institute for Manufacturing since 2002, as a Research Associate and subsequently a Policy Fellow in the Centre for Economics and Policy.
